Kill Teen Angst are a Perth-based indie rock band, with a fucking loud sound when it comes to their live shows. This is from a dingy little country shithole about 2 1/2 hours south of Perth, when they supported Jebediah on a really heinous trek around pretty much the entirity of Western Australia. And while I followed them around for most of the shows, even I wasn’t die-hard enough to hit the real top end shows.

(Semi) Interesting note: I was actually trying to nab this shot for the fact that the setlist was stuck to lead-singer’s foot. Figuring that it’d be a good laugh to go with post-show beers, I kept trying for it. As the boys were finishing the set-closer “Death to Rio”, Scott took a jump from the kick-drum, landed off balance, and started falling backwards off the front of the stage.

And onto me.

Once lucky catch later, I was left with a killer photo, a great memory, and apparently now, the third blog bost here at First 3 Songs.
